Today is the day that Lisa goes to Vegas for Katie’s bachelorette party! Kennedy wanted to show her some of her mad dancing skills before she took off. We queued up some J.T. on the iPod and got the whole thing on our hidden camera!

For those of you who have been following the Hockett Housing saga of ‘08, we seem to have progress. Yesterday, we spent 2 hours at our mortgage broker’s home signing what must be at least 150 pages of housing papers. Lucky for us, our escrow officer and mortgage broker live together and so they were able to tag team the explanations of the multitude of papers and we actually came away with a decent understanding of what we were signing. The expectation is that we will fund on Wednesday and file on Thursday. Translation: we should get the keys Thursday or Friday at the very latest. We are cautiously optimistic at this point. It’s not a done deal until we have the keys in our hand! So, for anyone who is around the weekend of September 12th, we are hoping to do the actual move that weekend! We’ll provide pizza and beer in exchange for free labor. And…I would say, it is again safe to broach the topic of the house with us!
