Well, patiently may be a matter of opinion, but I am waiting.  There are so many things that we do not know about this amazing little being who has become more and more baby-like even inside my tummy over the past weeks and months.  We don’t know if this baby is a he or a she, we don’t have a name picked out, we don’t know when his or her birthday will be or what color eyes the baby will have; whose nose, whose lips or what color hair the baby will be born with.  But we do know a lot of things about this little person we haven’t officially met.  We know that 4am is awake time in this little one’s daily cycle, that he or she is more of a squirmer and pusher, and less of a kicker.   We know that today will not be his or her birthday, even if I think it would be a wonderful day for having a baby.  This day is only the first of many days where I must relinquish any sense of control and just enjoy the ride, because one thing I do know is that I will not be pregnant still in 3 weeks!  I just can’t wait to meet this tiny new addition to our family!
