So we’re going to start a 529 plan to save up for college. Wow. I’ve never been this responsible before. I begin to wonder about what school our child will attend, ponder what subject matter they will study, and accept the fact that perhaps they will not even want to go to college. A long time from now, after our child has moved out to experience this world on their own terms, whatever they may be, I will look back on these virtual memories, compare them to the reality of our experience, and laugh quietly to myself…then I’ll blog about it.
