You guessed it, this is it.  We will learn how to upload pictures and you can browse our album from Hawaii!

I think the first post must be the hardest…so this is it!  Future topics may include, but are not limited to:   Our trip to Hawaii with a gaggle of Brandys, our *Awesome* softball team (Victorious Secret), Grad school visits (yup, Chris was accepted into Sac state!),  our globetrotting (glamerous Stockton, sunny Pasadena, Chris gone camping…) and any other random thoughts and updates!

Thanks for stopping by!

Greetings All

First of all, I would like to thank the best man, Matt, for doing some computer stuff and setting up this blog for us. We will enjoy the opportunity to share our lives with those near and far.

I read on the internet the other day (so it must be true) that by the year 2010, at least half of the work force in developed nations will conduct their work on computers. This means that more and more of you will be able to read up on what’s happening with The Hocketts while at work. I must caution you, however, that looking at such material while at the work place may be grounds for disciplinary action, so may I suggest that you become familiar with the Alt + Tab functionality of your Microsoft Operating System or the prowess of the infamous Alt + F4. One must be weary though, I’ve heard rumors that upper management has become aware of such fast keystrokes upon entering a subordinates work chambers, so tap lightly my friends and we’ll do the same.

So with this entry, we welcome everyone into our little web portal peek into the lives of The Hocketts. Enjoy.

I’ve created a blog for The Hocketts. Now that they are a young family of two living out in the East Bay, I’m not in tune with what is going on with The Hocketts as much as I used to be. For instance, they are in Hawaii now, and I didn’t even know they were going until a week or so ago. I’ve decided that they will now have to inform the world of all their Hockett Happenings, so that I can stay up to date. For now, it will be information, such as stories of Extended Hockett or Brandy outings, like a Hawaiian adventure, but as The Hocketts, grow some day, it can be about something a Tiny Hockett said that was funny. So here goes. Let’s see what The Hocketts have to say.
